Why I am interested in becoming a member of the TNA:
This has been a long-standing dream of mine. I am a history buff and have many books on the Texas Navy, archival records from the University of Texas, and have done research on the location of lost Texas Navy ships. I recently served in the Coast Guard Auxiliary and one of my frequent marine safety and environmental protection outreach locations was the Pueblo Reservoir in Colorado. The location is significant as the south shore of the reservoir was once part of the Republic of Texas. I also chartered a North American SNJ-5 Texan aircraft to patrol the Pueblo Reservoir in 2021. Being from Texas, and a life-long fan of tall ships, it would be a great honor to be accepted into the Texas Navy Association.
