Program: History and Future of the Battleship Texas: A Texas Treasure and State Historic Site
Battleship Texas took part in some of the most significant naval battles of the 20th century during both world wars. Now docked along the Houston Ship Channel, she serves as a memorial to those turbulent times. The Battleship Texas in 1948 was designated by Governor Jester as “The Flagship of the Texas Navy.” Presented by: Bruce Bramlett, CEO/Battleship Texas Foundation (501 3 c)
